SONJA DAUGHTERS
& BUTIKK
Sonja Daughters is a Support Group for the Lodge.
All Women Members are Welcome.
Meetings are the first Tuesday at 1:00 of each month except for July and August. In late October or early November there is a Holiday Faire with crafts, demonstrations and lunch open to the public. There are also meetings to make lefse as well as flat bread and rosettes for Lutefisk Dinners, and refreshments for the Juletrefest (Christmas party). Often there is a Spring Lunch. [Activities parallel recommendations for the pandemic.]
Lunch Bunch is held Tuesdays at 12:00 with a variety of activities at 1:00 pm: The first Tuesday of the month is the Sonja Daughters meeting. The second and third Tuesdays, charitable activities such as cutting stamps for Tubfrim, a project for Food for Lane County or a handcraft demonstration takes place; lately inventory and sales in the Butikk have been a major focus. The fourth Tuesday is for Håndarbeid or Handwork. You can learn to crochet, knit, work on weaving or Hardanger embroidery with a coach at the Lodge or virtually.
